Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) is an Oriental practice to improve mind and body. It is similar to tai chi or yoga and its principles are based on Truth, Compassion and Tolerance. It has rapidly become immensely popular within China and in over 60 countries. Unfortunately this success has not been shared by the Chinese communist regime, which banned the practice. An official state survey revealed that between 70-100 million people practice Falun Dafa in China alone. Communist leaders feared that this would bring a societal change, unbeneficial to its dictator-like rule. People who refuse to renounce their beliefs are arbitrarily detained in prisons or gulags, where they are subjected to humiliation, torture and organ harvesting. They are made to put up with those conditions unless they sign a declaration, guaranteeing that they will no longer practice Falun Dafa.
