Keiji Ozaki – Taekwondo K1 Fighter

This is a highlight I made of one of my favorite fighters, Keiji Ozaki (尾崎圭司). I’m probably the biggest, non-female, Keiji Ozaki fan there is. Keiji Ozaki is a Japanese full-contact Taekwondo fighter. He is a JTA (Japan Taekwondo Association) Taekwondo Champion, a RISE tournament kickboxing champion, and a 63kg & 70kg K-1 World Max Fighter. Keiji Ozaki, nicknamed the “Spinning Back Fist King”, is known best for his lightning fast, powerful spinning back fists (Back Spinning Blow) that have KO’d multiple opponents. As you guys know, in my tutorials I teach modern, Kukkiwon standard Taekwondo. But, Keiji Ozaki’s kicking technique is older, which is more like an ITF Taekwon-do style practitioner. While traditional technique isn’t as fast or strong as modern technique, it can still be very effective when used properly as Ozaki clearly demonstrates.
